I've always felt I wanted to write and Sarah's class could not have been more perfect for encouraging me and giving me the tools to really enjoy it. I was amazed how good we all became and how quickly. Just do it!

Sarah's classes are an inspiration. I am new to the creative writing process and discovered a writing voice I didn't know existed. Sarah has a perceptiveness and clarity that allows her to identify the essence of what makes writing work. She sets up an inclusive and supportive group process that assists everyone to bring out the best in themselves.

I experienced the writing group series as a very safe place to explore writing and the creative process, to have pieces come through which surprised me. The way you held the energy for the group, and brought the aspects of the mind - the critic - up in the first week, setting guidelines for feedback to others (and bringing more awareness to internal dialogue) was a valuable part of creating an inspiring and freeing space. Thank you so much for your fabulous energy and attention in the classes.

Sarah's weekly class was a great place for me to workshop a piece in
progress. It was very special to practice writing with such a generous and gifted
teacher.
